Cape Kamenjak
Cape Kamenjak is a protected nature reserve, covering an area of 405 hectares. It is located on the southernmost tip of the Istrian peninsula and is bordered by the Adriatic Sea to the south and east. The reserve consists of a rugged coastline, numerous coves and bays, and a variety of landscapes including forests, meadows, and rocky hills. The area is home to a rich variety of flora and fauna, including over 500 plant species and numerous species of birds, reptiles, and mammals.
One of the main attractions of Cape Kamenjak is its beautiful beaches and crystal-clear waters. The reserve has over 30 kilometers of coastline, with numerous small beaches and coves to explore. The beaches are surrounded by lush vegetation and offer stunning views of the Adriatic. The waters are teeming with marine life, making it an excellent location for snorkeling and diving.
