What you will experience

As with all good sunset dolphin tours, there is a good 90% chance of seeing the marine mammals. This is also confirmed by the Blue World Institute from the Kvarner island of Losinj. However, a boat tour to see the dolphins of the Adriatic Sea will always remain a real expedition into the animal kingdom. This makes these tours intriguing every time, even for the interested operator. The Cuba boat has the advantage that the participants of the tour can also keep a good lookout for the animals on the upper deck.

The dolphin species of the bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops truncatus) and the striped dolphin (Stenella coeruleoalba) are native to the Adriatic Sea. Once upon a time, the common dolphin (Delphinus delphis) was the most represented species in the Adriatic. For decades it was thought that this species of dolphin was extinct in the Adriatic. Until 2018 a large school of common dolphins was sighted, smaller groups are sighted more often. It is therefore assumed that this species will again find habitats in the Adriatic for itself.

Good to know: the dolphins are not fed in Croatia! Contact with the animals lasts about 30 minutes. Dolphins are curious and often come to the boat on their own.
